What Should Brown's Furniture Location Be Next?

This 36,375 s.f. building was a well-known Johnston St. furniture store for over 40 years. When the Brown's Furniture owner recently decided he wanted to downsize, the conveniently located commercial space became available for lease in June 2018. The question now is, who will take advantage of this great space in the highly visible corner of Johnston Street and Foreman Blvd? Knowing Lafayette and it's great entrepreneurs, we hope it's something cool.

The Main Show Room and open space is approximately 130' x 160' with 11.5' suspended ceiling height. Attached to the rear of the main showroom is a secondary 2 story building approximately 50' x 130'. The first floor is an extension of the showroom and the second floor is a warehouse serviced by a freight elevator. Parking is along Foreman Drive.

There are also several private offices. Of course this space would work well as a furniture store. A modern furniture line or something else totally different than what Lafayette currently offers now would be great wouldn't it? What else do you think would work well in this space? It's a great location and we'd love to hear your suggestions! To see more information about this property click HERE or contact Tim Skinner.
